Nothing Ordinary About Taking The Plunge

Well, if having your wedding on a Wednesday is out of the ordinary, everything else about this past Wednesday's wedding is also out of the ordinary.  Megan and Chris of Kansas had an extraordinary wedding day planned.  They started their day pronouncing their love to each other in front of 40 of their closest relatives and friends at the charming Kenwood Community Church.  From there, they caravanned there way up Highway 12 hitting 3 wineries, Chateau St. Jean, Ledson, and Kunde for some good old Sonoma Valley wine tasting.

To explain the whole Wednesday thing, there was actually a wonderful reason why they choose that day.  They were honoring Megan's late Grandmother who's wedding date was also July 7.

Megan and Chris's day was leading up to a fantasy that she has always had about her wedding day.  "Taking the plunge, literally, was something she's dreamed of doing since she was a teenager", her mom tells me.  So they wrapped up there day jumping in the pool at the Lodge, along side their whole bridal party.  It was really fun!
