It's All About the Architecture

Oooh!  This past weeks assignment for Beautiful Places was a blast to photograph.  I always say that some spaces are "meant" to be photographed and that certainly holds true for this modern architectural masterpiece created by Conrad Sanchez of Blue Design Studios.  The large open expanses inside the home seem to continue to the exterior with huge walls of windows acting as the only separation between inside and outside.  The sleek concrete structure makes for some pretty dramatic lines and differentiation from it's natural surroundings.  Non-the-less, the building fits just right on it's private perch.  Staring out past the infinity pool there's a spectacular 250 degree (or more) view of the bay, surrounding hills and cities.  The interior has some pretty bold architectural features as well such as the all marble bath enclosure in the master suite, and the one of a kind wine cave carved into the hillside.  Just spectacular!

I enjoyed photographing this property so much that I have divided this post into three pieces.  Look for the next two blog posts shortly.
